GREAT OAK FARM GREAT OUTDOOR FUN CAMP OUT 2023

 

 The Great Oak Farm Great Outdoor Fun Camp Out on the GOF Main Green is coming up next month (Saturday, August 12th beginning at 6:00pm -Sunday, August 13th ending at 10:00 am).

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW …

Great Oak Farm Families that plan on attending must RSVP via email to Adrienne Stepkoski at sunflwrz99@aol.com by August 9th, 2023. It will be first come, first serve to reserve a campout spot. A maximum of 25 families/tents will be permitted to attend. Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by a parent/guardian/adult in attendance who accepts responsibility for the camping party.

Each family will be responsible for bringing and providing their own food/snacks, non alcoholic drinks, paper goods, napkins etc, and disposing of them in a garbage bag prior to leaving the camping area. No littering please.

Each attending family is responsible for supplying and setting up/ taking down their own tent, air mattress, sleeping bags etc .

The GOF Outdoor Movie Night showing of THE SUPER MARIO BROS. MOVIE will simultaneously take place from 8:30-10:30 pm on Saturday and all attendees are expected to follow the lights out/bedtime and noise ordinance by 11:00 pm.

There will be additional events that you can participate in, such as a nature scavenger hunt, campfire sing-a-long and s’mores time for each participating family (you will be responsible for supplying the s’mores ingredients for your own family.)

Pets are not permitted to attend the GOF camp out.

As previously discussed with the GOF HOA Board, if any GOF Outdoor Camping attendees are not adhering to the set forth parameters/ if GOF HOA receives any complaints from residents who observed non compliance with the above guidelines, they will be asked to leave.

Christmas Tree Lighting and Celebration

🎅🏻🎄Dear Great Oak Farm Residents,

 

You are invited to our Great Oak Farm Annual Tree Lighting & Holiday Sing-a-long! Mark your calendars, because it is only a few weeks away, on Sunday, December 4th, 2022 beginning at 6:00 pm, with special guest SANTA CLAUS on the G.O.F. Main Green. Santa Claus will be available for a holiday photo op after the sing-a-long. In addition, Santa will be reading one of his favorite Christmas stories, so be sure not to miss it! 🎅🏻📚🎵

🎁❤️🎁 And back by popular demand, our annual holiday raffle contest will take place! This year there will be 5 prizes, with entries for residents who attend the tree lighting event. There will be ONE FAMILY GRAND PRIZE of a $25 Amazon gift card, & FOUR age appropriate KID’S PRIZES (1 for kids 0-3 years old, 1 for kids 4-8 years old, 1 for kids 9-12 years old and 1 for teens 13-18 years old.) Winners will be announced within 24 hours of the event.

Please include your name, and the # of adults/children that will be attending.

 

If you would like to volunteer to be Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, an Elf, or to help set up prior to the event, or to help clean up after the event, please include this in your email response.

 

In addition, if you would like to bring a baked good, egg nog or a box of pre made hot cocoa, please include the item(s) you will be contributing in your email RSVP.
